5 Day Survivor is an achievement/trophy in Dead Rising.

It is unlocked by surviving for a period of five days in Infinity Mode. The reward for unlocking the achievement is the laser sword, the most powerful weapon in the game.

Notes

• In Overtime Mode, the time stops at 11pm on the fourth day. Thus, it is only possible to obtain this achievement in Infinity Mode.
• The total amount of time it takes to obtain the achievement in real time is twelve hours, counting day zero in Infinity Mode.
• If Frank is in the Security Room when this achievement is earned, the laser sword will not appear. Frank must leave the Security Room to another load screen, then return for it to appear.
