The Acid Rain is a combo weapon in Dead Rising 3.
It is created by combining a Flare Gun and Chemicals. The blueprints for this weapon are obtained after finishing Chapter 6.
This modified flare gun contains two capsules that hold corrosive acid. When fired, it emits a green mist capable of killing a group of zombies within its radius. The acid rain is particularly effective in luring hordes of zombies, causing them to dissolve upon contact.

- Quick Shot: Press
to auto-fire at a nearby enemy, releasing a single round of corrosive acid that inflicts moderate acid damage. - Aiming Shot: Hold
to go into aim mode, then press to shoot at a manual target. - Heavy Attack: Press to perform a heavy melee attack with this weapon.
- Acid Rain: Press the button to fire a single round into the air, releasing acid that drizzles down and dissolves multiple zombies for a few seconds.
