Dead-Rising-3 unused attribute points screen

Attributes are upgrades that are obtained by earning attribute points through leveling up in Dead Rising 3.

As Nick or Dick progress through levels, players can select specific attributes for them. Each attribute offers unique positive effects that grant Nick an advantage as he gains levels and becomes more powerful. Nick earns attribute points with each level gained, and these points can be allocated to different attributes.

Nick will receive 1 AP from Levels 1 to 15, 2 AP from Levels 15 to 30, and 3 AP from Levels 30 and above.

There are a total of seven attribute categories. The final tier of each category remains locked until Nick reaches Level 50. Once Level 50 is achieved, the progress bar will continue to fill and award Attribute Points, but Nick will not level up beyond that point.

Trivia[]

  • In Dead Rising 3, the player can carry up to 8 inventory items at once when fully upgraded, unlike the 12-item limit in Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2.
  • Despite vehicles becoming indestructible through the Mechanic's Untouchable upgrade, they can still sustain damage. The indestructible status only activates when the vehicle's durability is nearly depleted, as seen with specific examples like the Fuel Car and Hearse due to their mission-based health bars.
  • A bug exists where if the player accidentally exits a vehicle by crashing out of it, the vehicle remains indestructible even after the player has already exited.
