The Barbell is a weapon in Dead Rising.

It is a heavy weightlifting equipment, lifted using both hands. It is a heavy weapon and cannot be stored in the inventory. A heavy and powerful improvised weapon, the barbell is also somewhat unwieldy. It can mow down crowds of zombies, but its slow swing and recovery may make Frank vulnerable to a counterattack.

Its durability can be increased with the Sports book.


  • Primary: Tap the 360 X button button to swing the barbell.
  • Thrown: Hold down the Righttrigger trigger and press the 360 X button button to throw the barbell.
