Case 0-2: Find Zombrex is the second mission in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. It takes place in the Quarantine Zone. Chuck Greene must travel through the Quarantine Zone and open the back ambulance door.

Summary

After arriving at the Quarantine Zone, Chuck noticed an ambulance that may have Zombrex inside. He travels to the ambulance. As he opens the door, a dead soldier rolls out. The soldier's radio is cracking to life as Chuck searches the van for Zombrex. As he finds the medicine, he learns that the military are coming back at nightfall for a second quarantine. With this event now made aware to him, he needs to get a way out of town fast. To his luck, he notices a motorbike. Though broken, he places it in a Utility Cart.

Walkthrough

Tanker cutscene

Chuck Greene begins this case climbing a tanker. The tanker overlooks the overrun Quarantine Zone. Chuck spots an ambulance next to some tents.

As this case begins an information screen appears which states:

• The bridge out of town is blocked with wreckage and zombies.
• Search the quarantine zone for clues about what happened here.
• Search for Zombrex and find a way to escape from Still Creek.

Save game

At this point the case file appears and an opportunity to save the game. Save the game.

Traveling through the quarantine zone

To avoid zombies, Chuck can jump from car to car in the traffic jam.

Jump down and head towards the brown tents and ambulance. The ambulance is on the left.

Ambulance cutscene

Open the ambulance door and a cutscene begins.

Chuck opens the ambulance door. A dead solider falls out. Chuck rummages in the back. Chuck finds Zombrex in the back. Chuck: Oh thank god! As Chuck begins to step away from the ambulance, a voice is heard over the radio. Radio: "Come in charlie six! I repeat! Come in charlie six! Radio: We are organizing backup for your blockade now. Radio: Hang Tight, and DO NOT let anyone past your post. Radio: A new quarantine crew with full security detail will be there at 21:00 hours! Radio: Repeat, backup will be there by nightfall!" As Chuck begins to walk away, he finds the body of a motorcycle next to the ambulance. Chuck: Yeah, I can fix this. Chuck glances over his shoulder and sees a Utility Cart.
