The cash register is a weapon in Dead Rising. It is a machine used to register sales and is found in virtually every store in the Willamette Parkview Mall. It is a heavy weapon that cannot be stored in the inventory.
Attacks
- Primary: Tap the
button to swing the cash register. - Thrown: Hold down the
trigger to go into aim mode and press the 
button to throw the cash register.

Trivia
- When the cash register hits a target, it emits a "cha-ching" noise.
- When the it breaks, money is scattered out. However, as the money system does not exist in Dead Rising, the effect is purely aesthetic.
