Achievement outfits[]

When the player finishes one of the three modes,[note 11] a list of all of the new items Frank earned is listed.

Achievement outfits can be unlocked by earning certain achievements/trophies. The player must first beat the game with these achievements unlocked in order to receive the outfit. All of these outfits are in brown paper bags in the Security Room around the air duct. These outfits do not count toward the Sharp Dresser or Clothes Horse achievements.

There are several downloadable outfits on the Xbox Live Marketplace. These outfits are free to download. They also come unlocked automatically with the PC version of Dead Rising. Use the keys on the blue lockers in four places:

  • The Security Room, where the main survivors usually stand.
  • The two rooms on the left where survivors are held.
  • The three lockers under the stairs to the helipad.

Like the achievement outfits, these outfits do not count toward the Sharp Dresser or Clothes Horse achievements.
