The Decapitator is a combo weapon exclusive to Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It is created by combining a Chef Knife with a Boomerang. Alternatively, it can be crafted using a Bowie Knife.
To easily craft this weapon immediately after exiting the Safe House:
- Four Boomerangs can be found at The Man's Sport.
- A Bowie Knife is located on the roof of the Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow stand, which is located just outside The Man's Sport.

Combo card location[]
The combo card for the Decapitator is unlocked by examining the Kangaroo Apocalypse poster at the entrance to the restrooms in the Americana Casino.
Trivia[]
- It is unusual that the alternate attack (holding
/) is a swing, as typically the main attack is a swing. - A combo card is not required for the primary attack of throwing the Decapitator.
