Defeat the Commander is the eighth story mission of Chapter 4 in Dead Rising 3.
Summary[]
Upon Nick's attempt to open the front gate, he finds that the gate is securely locked, requiring a key for access. Adam Kane, the commander, holds this key, and Nick must retrieve it from him.
The Commander bears a strong resemblance to other soldiers, although he boasts a health bar akin to that of other psychopaths. Armed with an assault rifle, he engages Nick in combat by firing shots and hurling grenades. He also displays agility in dodging attacks and executes knockback melee maneuvers, yet remains susceptible to burn damage. Notably, the Z.A.R or most super combo weapons prove effective against him.
Following his defeat, Nick earns 1,200 PP and can secure the gate key card for his use.
