After Nick attempts to open the front gate, he will find out that it's locked and requires a key to open. He must obtain the key from Adam Kane, the commander.
The Commander is very similar to the other soldiers, except for that he has a health bar. He will shoot Nick with his gun and throw grenades at him. He also tends to dodge attacks quickly, but is susceptible to burn damage. The Z.A.R works very well against him.
Once he has been defeated, Nick will receive 1,200 PP and can pick up the gate key card.
