The Flamethrower is an exo-weapon in Dead Rising 4. This weapon cannot be used unless the player is wearing an Exo Suit.

Unlike its combo weapon counterpart from the two previous games, this one is now manufactured by the Pentagon for the mercenary company Obscuris for incinerating hordes. Flametroopers are seen using this weapon.

The weapon itself has a good cone area of effect-damage with good damage-over-time against zombie hordes that close in on the player, the disadvantage it suffers is that enemies set on fire by any flame-based weapon including this, will also hurt the player.
