The '''Fortune City Hotel''' is a prominent 5-star establishment located in [[Fortune City]] in ''[[Dead Rising 2]]'' and ''[[Dead Rising 2: Off the Record]]''. It is the scene of Channel 6 News field reporter [[Rebecca Chang]]'s live report on the [[Fortune's End|Fortune City outbreak]]. During one of [[Chuck Greene|Chuck]]'s first cases, [[Case 1-2: Alive on Location]], he must reach the hotel to find [[Rebecca Chang]] to attempt to clear his name of any wrongdoing in the city's recent [[Zombies|zombie]] outbreak.

Later on, one of the hotel's guests finds herself in need of assistance. Survivor [[Europa Westinghouse]] accidentally locks herself out of her room and ventures to the lobby for help, only to find it overrun with zombies, rendering her vulnerable. Another survivor, [[Lillian Payne]], makes her way to the hotel roof after being separated from [[Camille Payne|her mother]] and is on the verge of suicide if she is not reunited with her.

During [[Case 5-2: The Getaway]] ([[Case 6-1: The Getaway]] in ''Off the Record''), [[Tyrone "TK" King|TK]] plans to escape the city via the hotel's roof, and must be defeated in his [[TK's Helicopter|helicopter]] before he escapes. In ''Dead Rising 2'', the [[Gift Basket|gift basket]], one of the items demanded by TK during [[Overtime Mode (Dead Rising 2)|Overtime]], is found at the hotel's front desk.

This was my first visit to Fortune City and it certainly won't be my last. The Fortune City Hotel blew me away and I loved relaxing in the spa as much as spending up a storm in the mall. The Fortune's got it all. --Roy Lovelock
