The generator is a weapon and key item in Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

This weapon is only found during Case 6-4: Breach (Case 7-4: Breach in Off the Record). It is one of the three objects needed to hot-wire the control box and seal the breached bunker doors, along with the gas barrel and spool of wire.
