The Infernal Arms is a combo weapon in Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It is created by combining a training sword with motor oil.
When used on a zombie, the initial hit from the Infernal Arms will light it on fire. While it will not die immediately, it will eventually burn to death and grant the player a large number of prestige points (450 with the combo card). The Infernal Arms also causes continuous damage to enemies after the initial hit, making this weapon very useful against multiple foes. The weapon cannot be thrown at zombies; holding the aim button makes the player defend themselves with the shield.
In the Slot Ranch Casino, in the room where the Zombrex is located, there is a training sword next to Maintenance Room 4 on top of some boxes, with some motor oil inside the maintenance room.

Combo card location[]
In Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record, the combo card for the Infernal Arms is unlocked by leveling up. In Dead Rising 2, it is the 29th card out of 34 total cards awarded by leveling, and is generally unlocked at levels 42 or 43.

- The combo card for this weapon erroneously does not list the weapon's secondary attack.
- While "infernal" is associated with hell, the training sword's other combo weapon is the opposite: "holy," associated with heaven.
- In the PC game file items.txt, the Infernal Arms is referred to as "FlamingSwordAndShield" (Flaming Sword and Shield).
