Introduction[]
- Main article: Introduction (Dead Rising 2)
Irwin was a spectator for the Terror Is Reality show at the Fortune City Arena. As soon as Chuck Greene rescued Katey from the green room, Irwin bursts through a pair of locked doors and falls to a ground as a zombie lurches towards him. He manages to get up and flee from the zombie, but falls victim to the awaiting horde that lurked around the corner in the corridor. He is killed and eaten as dozens of zombies swarm around him.
Trivia[]
- The door that Irwin comes through cannot be opened until after Katey is retrieved, sort of as an obstacle for Chuck to get Katey before proceeding through the arena.
- Irwin is seen with a yellow shirt and no hair, while in his notebook picture he is seen wearing a white shirt and having a full head of hair.
- Irwin is one of the few characters from Dead Rising 2 to not make an appearance in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.
- Irwin is featured on the cover of a Fortune City World News magazine issue. He is featured on the bottom lefthand corner with the tagline reading "BALD GUY FINDS CURE FOR BALDING. Even skeptics remain hopeful"
- Although 121 of the survivors in Dead Rising 2 have 1,000 health, Irwin Sagehorn only has 10.
- Despite the fact that Irwin dies at the beginning of the game and without mod's missions.txt help, it is impossible to save him, in the game files it has an animation of a poker game as if it were playing poker with a player in an Ante Up.
