"My friend Rachel... She got left behind on the second floor in Ladies' Space..."
—Jolie, on being separated from Rachel
"Thanks! All we have to do is wait here for rescue now, right?"
—Jolie, upon reaching the Security Room

Jolie Wu is a survivor appearing in Dead Rising and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.

She is found in Gramma's Kids in the Entrance Plaza during the scoop The Woman Who Didn't Make It. She has been separated from her friend Rachel Decker, and requires Frank West's help to get back to her.

Jolie is found taking cover in Gramma's Kids in the Entrance Plaza. When Frank approaches her, she begs for him to help her find her friend Rachel in Ladies' Space on the second floor. Frank agrees. As Frank heads out to look for Rachel, Jolie decides that she wants to follow him.

Upon reaching Ladies' Space, Frank finds Rachel running around in a panicked state, calling for Jolie. As the two girls see each other, they run to each other and hug, which is a Photo Op. Jolie apologizes for leaving Rachel behind, and Rachel forgives her. Frank then interrupts the reunion and offers to take both of them to the Security Room, to which they agree.

Infinity Mode[]

Jolie appears in Crislip's Home Saloon at North Plaza from 3:19:00 to 4:00:00 and is armed with a Fire Ax. She also carries a pack of Frozen Vegetables, a Paint Can, a Handbag, a Perfume Prop, and a Golf Club.

  • Jolie is the only Chinese woman found in Dead Rising.
  • There are zombies who look very similar to Jolie.
  • The way she and Rachel hug is the same way Jeff and Natalie Meyer hug each other; it is also a Photo Op.
  • If Wayne Blackwell is escorted with Jolie, there’s a possibility she will be angered at him.
  • She cannot be given weapons, but Frank can hold her hand instead.
  • Jolie kills a default zombie with 5 hits total, using the kick or pushing them over.
