Katarina is a stranded survivor in Dead Rising 3.
She is found on the Los Perdidos Bridge as Nick leaves Sunset Hills. Nick will be able to find her defending herself against hordes of the undead as he makes his way to Central Storage during Chapter 4. She will only appear after nick escapes the military compound.
She will run to a safer place when rescued.
During Dead Rising 3: Fallen Angel, a notification saying that Katarina died appears as Angel Quijano approaches the safehouse above The Jean Patch Thrift Store.

- Although a notification will claim that she is dead in the Fallen Angel DLC, Nick finds her alive in the main campaign after Angel's death.
- She shares her character model with Jodie and Cara.
