The King Salmon is a weapon in Dead Rising.
The salmon serves primarily as a gag weapon, but can be devastating in the hands of a survivor since items held by survivors never break.
The player can also blend the King Salmon in a Blender.
Attacks[]
- Primary: Tap the
button to swing the King Salmon. - Thrown: Hold down the
to go into aim mode, then press the button to throw the King Salmon.
Trivia[]
- The object has very odd physical properties - it bounces off of the ground or off of walls at great speed.
- Both the fish in the pond and the fish in Seon's seem to be frozen, as Frank West picks up a fish and it is not moving, though it moves in the pond. Frank cannot put the fish back.
- Oddly, this weapon is very useful against Steven Chapman. It will take four hits to kill him, which also means it will take two full King Salmons to take him down.
- In Dead Rising 2, the King Salmon is replaced with the Swordfish.
