Lauren Staples is a survivor and posse member in Dead Rising 3.
She acts as a gatekeeper for the Illegals hideout at the Los Perdidos Communication Tower. She will ask Nick Ramos to bring her the Tattoo Kit and Ring Box that she's lost before she will allow him inside to find Annie during Chapter 3.
She gets kidnapped by the Special Forces during Chapter 4 and appears in the side mission The Hunted.
The Hunted[]

After rescuing Doug Trent, Jamie Flynt will call Nick about the "tattooed babe from earlier" who is held up at the Industry Tunnel.
When Nick arrives, he must defeat all of the Spec Ops and untie Lauren. Afterwards, she can be recruited.
Trivia[]
- When Lauren is given her Ring Box, she will reveal that her late husband gave it to her. Whether he passed away due to the outbreak or from other causes is unknown.
- When Nick is on his way out of the safe house to deal with the tasks Red gave him, Lauren will thank Nick one last time for his help.
- When Nick talks to her, Lauren remarks that it's ironic that she tattoos people for a living but she tries to avoid getting marked by the government. She also offers to cover up Nick's '12' tattoo if he helps the Illegals.
- Lauren is the only one of the three "Hunted" survivors to not appear in the Fallen Angel DLC.
