The machete is a weapon that is found in Willamette Parkview Mall in Dead Rising.
It is obtained after defeating Cliff Hudson in Crislip's Home Saloon, and will respawn in front of the lawnmower every time the store is visited. The weapon is extremely powerful and can kill any zombie in one hit. You can use the Criminal Biography book to improve its durability.
Attacks
- Primary: Tap the
button for a quick slash attack. - Thrown: Hold down the
trigger to go into aim mode then press the button to throw the machete.
Notes
- The machete is very useful for killing True Eye cultists, even more so than the small chainsaw due to its high agility.
- They are also duel-wielded by Zombie Cliff in Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.
