The machete is a weapon that is found in Willamette Parkview Mall. It is obtained after defeating Cliff Hudson in Crislip's Home Saloon, and will respawn in front of the lawnmower every time the store is visited, as long as it is not in Frank's inventory. The weapon is extremely powerful and can kill any zombie in one hit. You can use the criminal biography book to improve it's durability.
Attacks
- Primary: Tap the
button for a quick slash attack. - Thrown: Hold down the
trigger to go into aim mode then press the 
button to throw the machete.

- Crislip's Home Saloon (after completing The Hatchet Man)
Notes
- The machete is very useful for killing True Eye cultists, even more so than the small chainsaw due to its high agility.
- They are also duel-wielded by Zombie Cliff in Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.
Trivia
- The machete is always covered in blood, regardless of whether or not Frank has attacked anything with it.
