The machete is a weapon that is found in Willamette Parkview Mall, that can be obtained after defeating Cliff Hudson in Crislip's Home Saloon, and will spawn next to the lawnmower every time the saloon is visited, as long as it is not in Frank's inventory. The machete is always covered in blood, regardless of whether or not Frank has attacked anything with it. If Adam the Clown blocks this weapon, it has a high chance of breaking, so it's not recommended for fighting him in Out of Control, his related scoop. It also is very useful for killing True Eye cultists, even more so than the small chainsaw. survivors can also equip the machete. The weapon is incredibly powerful, and can kill any zombie in one hit. It can be thrown by holding down the 
and pressing 
. You can use the Criminal Biography Book to improve it's durability.
Appearances
The machete only appears in Dead Rising, but could possibly make an appearance in Dead Rising 2.
