The Propane Tank is an explosive weapon in Dead Rising 3.
It is a red metallic canister filled with the deadly fast acting gas that blow flying any zombies upon exploding.
It can be used in several weapon blueprints. Combined with a Gasoline Canister to create the I.E.D., Motor Oil to create the Napalm Bomb, an RPG to create the Big Bomb, an Electric Staff to create the Electrofire Staff, or an Electroice Staff to create the Elemental Staff.
