Rachel Decker is a survivor appearing in Dead Rising and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.

Rachel will not follow Frank to the Security Room without her friend.
The Woman Who Didn't Make It[]

Rachel is found running around inside Ladies' Space in a panicked state after being unintentionally abandoned by Jolie. When Frank West approaches, she ignores him and continues to call out for her friend, unwilling to cooperate with any rescue efforts unless Jolie is present.
After Jolie agrees to follow Frank in search of Rachel, he brings her back to Ladies' Space. When the two women see each other, they run into each other's arms and hug, triggering a Photo Op. Jolie apologizes for leaving Rachel behind, and Rachel forgives her. Frank then offers to escort them both to the Security Room. Rachel will follow only Jolie, even if Frank attempts to guide her with a waypoint.
Infinity Mode[]
- Main article: Infinity Mode
In Infinity Mode, Rachel appears in the Warehouse from 6:00:00 to 6:07:00, and is armed with a Push Broom. She also carries a pack of Cookies, a Lead Pipe, Gems, a Sledgehammer, and a Shovel.
Trivia[]
- Rachel follows Jolie instead of Frank, which can make escorting her more challenging. This behavior stops if Jolie is no longer with Frank.
- The woman Alan Peterson was seeing is speculated to be Rachel. Kathy mentions Alan cheating with his assistant, and in the beta version, Rachel appeared in a mission titled A Woman With Secrets, where she was found with Alan in McHandy's Hardware.[1] This mission was cut at some point in development, and Alan and Kathy were moved to the Entrance Plaza, while Rachel was reassigned to the scoop "The Woman Who Didn't Make It" with Jolie, possibly replacing Dana Simms and Verlene Willis.
- The dialogue used between Kathy and Alan in the Entrance Plaza may have originally been part of a planned storyline involving Rachel.
- In rare cases, Rachel may spawn in a location other than Ladies' Space due to a glitch. In these instances, she may not be targeted by snipers or behave as expected.
- In the beta version, Rachel wore a different outfit, specifically the clothing worn by Kay Nelson.
- The hug animation between Jolie and Rachel is identical to the one shared by Jeff and Natalie Meyer, and also serves as Photo Op.
- She cannot be given weapons, but Frank can hold her hand while escorting her.
- Similar to Aaron Swoop and Gordon Stalworth, Rachel may occasionally crawl on the floor instead of running if she is overwhelmed by zombies.
