Run for Your Lives is the creators of the original zombie themed 5K obstacle course race. On August 29, 2013 Microsoft announced that Run for Your Lives partnered with Dead Rising 3 races held through December 2013 around the United States.
The series begins in September 7 in New Hampshire and concludes with an Austin, Texas run on December 7 at Rusty's Walnut Creek Ranch. Each race has room for up to 10,000 racers.
Each event will start at 8 a.m. with a new wave of runners leaving every 30 minutes until about 3:30 p.m.
The races wrap up with an "Apocalypse Party" that includes music, games and a "celebration of zombie culture."[1]
