The Special Ops Zombie is a type of zombie in Dead Rising 3. They are zombified members of the Special Ops and are first encountered in Chapter 3 while looking for the military supplies. From there, they can be found close to military vehicles or blockades. They are common specifically in South Almuda and Central City.
Like the Cop Zombies, they will instinctively fire their guns, an Assault Rifle, indiscriminately in short bursts until they are killed. They provide a special amount of PP once killed.
During Operation Broken Eagle, Adam Kane will come across some zombified members of his squad who can wield not only the issued assault rifle, but also the Auto Shotgun or the S19-SHVR.
