- "Line up the nearest zombie head and nail it out of the park!"
- —Combo card description
The Spiked Bat is a combo weapon in Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It is created by combining a baseball bat with a box of nails.
The Spiked Bat is the first weapon the player will craft, and also the first combo card received. It can be constructed many times at the beginning of the storyline, as there is always a baseball bat and a box of nails in the first maintenance room.
Due to how easy it is to obtain and how many hits it can withstand, the Spiked Bat is one of the most effective weapons in the game. It can one-shot normal zombies, and is very effective at sweeping multiple enemies out of the way.
