Tamara Stein is a survivor appearing in Dead Rising 2. She was caught up in the zombie outbreak in Fortune City. She reappears in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record with the same role, though she does not help fight back when the Safe House is breached in Case 7-4: Breach.
Tamara was listed by Gretchen Peregrine on the August 6, 2010 Tape It or Die blog post as one of the members whom they would meet with in Fortune City.
Introduction[]

When the outbreak began, Tamara was able to make it to the safe house; while waiting, she tried to get a signal on her cell phone and questioned why she couldn't when it failed. After Raymond Sullivan cleared her along with several other survivors, she headed inside the Safe House.
Case 6-4: Breach[]

When the shelter was breached, Tamara is seen being attacked by a crowd of zombies and managed to defend herself long enough for the doors to be resealed.
Overtime Mode[]

As the rescue team sent by Channel 6 Action News came in to save the survivors, Tamara was seen getting into a helicopter with Skylar Ali. Before she escaped, Chuck asked her if she has seen Stacey Forsythe or Katey, which she denied.

Kerri with the same model as Tamara
- There are two dead women in the lobby of the Arena that the share the same model as Tamara named "Kerri". The only difference is the jacket color is blue instead of green.
- Even if Tamara (same goes to Skylar) dies in Case 6-4, she will still appear at the Ending S cutscene.
- This glitch has been corrected in Off the Record as she and Skylar are replaced during the breach with Tomomi Miyamoto and Lulu Barra.
- Tamara has the same last name as Leah Stein, a survivor in Dead Rising, though no familial connection is implied.
- Oddly, tamara will not spawn sometimes during the breach.
