According to IGN and other sources, Capcom announced today that the North American release date for Dead Rising 2 has been pushed back a month, from August 31 to September 28. The European release was also delayed from September 3 to October 1. The only explanation given was:
"We determined as a collective group across all territories that this is a better release date for the title"
