The water cooler is a weapon in Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It is a device that cools and dispenses water.

When it is thrown, the water bottle detaches from the cooler. The water cooler has 30 uses total; after the 15th use, the water bottle falls off, but the cooler remains in the player's inventory.

Its durability can be increased with the Domestic magazine.

  • Main: Tap X/Square to swing the water cooler from right to left, parallel to Chuck's shoulders.

  • Combo: Quickly tap X/Square again to swing the water cooler from left to right, parallel to Chuck's waist.

  • Combo 2: Quickly tap X/Square again to lift the water cooler above Chuck's right shoulder and swing it down to his waist.
