The Water Gun is a weapon in Dead Rising.
Like the Rat Saucer, it is incapable of killing zombies; instead, it merely pushes them back, leaving a white film on their face and shirt. However, it is useful for snapping survivors out of their frightened state when surrounded by zombies.
Aside from being available in Child's Play in Paradise Plaza, Water Guns can also be found in cardboard boxes, such as the one under the stairs by Kids' Choice Clothing.
Unlike most firearms, the water gun does not deal any additional damage from headshots.
Attacks[]
- Primary: Tap the
button to fire the water gun. If Frank is moving, he will fire in front of him; if he is remaining still, he will automatically aim at the nearest target. - Aim: Hold down the
trigger to go into aim mode then press the 
button to fire the water gun at a specific target.
Trivia[]
- Similar to the fire extinguisher, the water gun proves effective for stunning psychopaths and is easier to use due to its aiming mode.
