The Yucatan Casino is one of the major casinos of Fortune City in Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. Here, tourists and vacationers can indulge in games such as slots, Blackjack, and other card games. Among the slots and tables, a unique attraction awaits: a tiger exhibit featuring Snowflake, who puts on shows with her trainer, Theodore Smith. However, as the outbreak occurs, Theodore snaps, attempting to feed Snowflake "fresh meat" in the form of humans. Chuck realizes this when he is captured after spotting a man fleeing within the casino.
Beyond its gaming attractions, the Yucatan Casino also functions as a hotel, offering accommodations for guests. There are VIP rooms and a dining establishment named Baron Von Brathaus, and the Shoal Nightclub, where Amber and Crystal Bailey hold Rebecca Chang hostage.

- In Dead Rising 2, there is a hidden Zombrex box atop the monument in the center of the gambling hall. Climb up the slot machines and continue to climb up the monument until you reach a platform with Zombrex and an LMG.
- Initially, all the slot machines in the casino are turned off. To bring them back to life, the player must restore power by navigating to the power room (where the underground access point is located). Access to this room is granted only upon recruiting Lenny during the mission Fresh Meat.
- There is a giant game of video roulette on the central monument named Lucky Marble that becomes available once the power has been restored.
- The Chopper motorcycle sits atop a display near the Silver Strip entrance. To drive it, the player must first purchase the Chopper Key from Just in Time Payday Loans in the Palisades Mall. The Chopper can be driven through the Yucatan Casino and the Palisades Mall.
- There is a fireplace where the player can burn money. The more money is burned, the more PP the player gets.

Pros: Has a tropical jungle theme (which I admittedly was skeptical of at first, as I normally associate the Yucatan with the plains where the Mayan pyramids were built, but apparently there is a jungle, so I suppose I am wrong in that regard). Moderately priced for the most part.
Cons: On the other side of the city from the Arena, meaning that travel time to and from TiR will be about as long as it can be.[4]
