Zombie Genocider (renamed Zombie Annihilator in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster) is an achievement in Dead Rising.

It is unlocked by killing 53,594 zombies during one playthrough of any mode.

The Real Mega Buster will be available in the Security Room after unlocking the achievement and finishing the game.

Strategy

• The easiest way to unlock this achievement is to drive the Red Convertible, White Sedan and Delivery Truck through the Maintenance Tunnels. 

Trivia

• The Real Mega Buster will only appear in the Security Room if an ending is obtained. If the player quits without getting an ending, the Real Mega Buster will be unavailable unless the player repeats the requirement.
• The population of Willamette, Colorado is 53,594. Therefore, if Frank kills this many zombies, he has killed the entire population of Willamette.
• Other zombie games, such as Left 4 Dead, Prototype and Dead Nation also include a reference to this achievement, featuring achievements for a similar number of kills (53,595 for Left 4 Dead's "Zombie Genocidest" and 53,596 for Prototype's "Trail of Corpses" and Dead Nation's "Genocidiary").
  • Rock Band 3's "HOPO-cidal Maniac" achievement requires a total of 53,596 hammer-ons and pull-offs to be performed.
    • Rock Band Reloaded's "Note Grinder" award requires 53,597 total notes and phrases hit.
    • The "Zombie Genociderer" achievement in Dead Island: Epidemic also requires 53,597 kills.
      • In MADNESS: Project Nexus, achievement "Slaughter Rank: Genocider" requires 53,594 kills.
• Following on from this, the achievement has has many follow-ups in subsequent Dead Rising titles:
  • Dead Rising 2's achievements "Z-Genocider 2: Genocide Harder" and "Zombie Genocide Master" require the player kills 53,596 and 72,000 zombies respectively.
  • Dead Rising 3's achievemnt "Master of Massacre" requires the player to kill 53,597 zombies. It is the only achievement in the Zombie Genocider series to not carry the name.
  • Dead Rising 4's achievement "Z-Genocider 4: The Return" requires the player to kill 53,598 zombies.
  •  In Chop Till You Drop, Frank will unlock the "Apocalypse Frank" outfit after killing 53,594 zombies.
