Frank's Zombie Slugger is a DLC weapon in Dead Rising 3. It is only available in the Day One edition of the game as a pre-order bonus, and can be obtained from the weapons locker.
It is part of the Frank West Outfit pre-order bonus, and is also available as a part of the Super Ultra Dead Rising 3' Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + α Frank West default costume. It has a unique special attack in which Nick thrusts it into a zombie's gut before delivering a forceful blow across their face, launching them. The weapon's attacks are taken from the Baseball Bat's heavy attack.
While it is not available in the PC version by default, it can be found in the game files and added in by modding.
Trivia[]
- Despite being called "Frank's Zombie Slugger," Frank has never used this weapon until Dead Rising 3; only then was it considered to be his "iconic" weapon.
- The last two light attacks are taken directly from Dead Rising 2. If you use one of them and then press nothing, you can see Nick about to go into Chuck's idle animation before snapping to his own.
